While an AP seems all but impossible at this time, I wonder if the same holds true for a campaign book... count me in the "I'd buy it" column.

Lost Kingdoms covers Thassilon (among other ancient civilizations). Lost Cities of Golarion covers Xin-Shalast (among others), while Dungeons of Golarion covers Hollow Mountain (what remains of Xin-Bakrakhan; among others).

Also, an Azlant-focused AP is currently in the works and will come out for Gencon next year. Seeing as Thassilon was founded by Azlanti exiles, I'm sure a lot of the information will carry over. Also, what do you consider the height of Thassilon? Pre or post Xin? :P
Shattered Star book 6 has a ton of lore about the whole Xin thing.

Just to manage expectations, the AP really doesn't touch on Thassilon at all, and most the Azlanti stuff we have planned is very much Azlanti rather than common ground between Thassilon and Azlant. Even then, it won't be about Azlant at its height, but in the ruined state it's in now.

I'm only going over books that I actually own...
Campaign Settings:
Lost Kingdoms has a 10-page chapter on Thassilon, its history, along with a gazetteer of existing Thassilonian ruins that are ripe for exploration.
Lost Cities of Golarion has a 10-page chapter on the city of Xin-Shalast, although that one is presented as it exists today. Furthermore, it assumes that the city has already been found by adventurers and that the events of "Rise of the Runelords" have already played out.
Artifats and Legends has information about some magical artifacts created during Thassilon: the Seven Swords of Sin.
City of Strangers has some information about Thassilon and how the city of Kaer Maga was used by the Runelords.
Inner Sea Magic has information about Thassilonian sin magic.
Magnimar: City of Monuments includes some Thassilonian-related information, particularly about the Irespan.
Occult Realms has a section on Thassilonian phantoms.
And there's the free web enhancement Magic of Thassilon.
Adventure Paths:
There is a lot of information about Thassilon scattered throughout the Rise of the Runelords adventure path.
Likewise, there is a lot of info in the Shattered Star AP, including a bio of each of the seven Runelords in The Dead Heart of Xin.
