+1 weapon crafting requierment

Rules Questions

I can simply NOT find this anywhere, and feel like im just missing it. I know that the caster level requirement is 3 for a simple +1 long sword.

However I can find nothing regarding a spell requirement. Is there absolutely no spells required in the crafting?

Also seeking to confirm, Craft magical arms and armor simply has a requirement of 5th level, but no requirement of caster levels. The levels for casting must be level in a spell-casting class right?

edit: Read it wrong.

Is the question resolved?

No specific spells are involved in the process of simply giving weapons, armors, and shields raw enhancement bonuses.

Yea, under PF rules, you can be a non-caster with no access to any spells at all and still make magic items, weapons and armor, etc.

The DC is just much higher.

Well, as long as you have Master Craftsman.

Right. And with this, your options if you need a spell are:

-Find a friend with it.
-Eat a +5 to the DC for each one you lack.

This may provoke arguments based on the specific printing of each property you want to add, but generally it's no real hindrance. My level 7 barbarian just outfitted herself with a +1 furious greataxe, and would probably be able to get away with getting our cleric a +1 undead bane heavy mace if cash flow didn't get in the way.
