As the author of the child curse, let me say this clearly:
Nothing exotic is intended by the bonus revelation. You just get another revelation. Any interpretation that leads to an unexpected or unconventional result is probably not the one in keeping with what I wrote. Certainly, the curse was not written to circumvent any restrictions of any kind on revelations.
You can't take revelations from a different mystery.
You can't ignore prerequisites.
It's just, "You get a revelation, like the other ones you have, but this one is a bonus."
