Radiance and Character Wealth

Wrath of the Righteous

So the paladin will be 12th level when Radiance becomes a full Holy Avenger. Doesn't that just blow WBL out of the water?

$108k at 12th
Holy Avenger = $120K

I like the idea of Yaniel "bestowing" the holy avenge upgrade. But did any other GM have this happen later in the AP? If so, please share.

it's just a theory - but i think the WBL might be based on the APL incl mythic tiers - so at lvl 12 they're gonna get MT4, so they'll be APL 14

As written, WBL doesn't take mythic tier into account.

But then, WBL is primarily a tool for building a new character, whether to begin a campaign or to introduce into an ongoing campaign. It is at best a loose guideline for advancing long-running characters. Many APs give out more wealth than the guidelines would suggest. Wrath of the Righteous specifically has balance problems up the wazoo; inflated character wealth is the least of them.

Don't use WBL in APs. APs are built so that players can miss wealth. Players get what they get.

Remember: WBL is a suggestion, NOT a rule.
