What happens if, during the 10 minutes of service you get from the efreeti each day (assuming you have rolled 11-89 on the d100), the Efreeti is slain?
1) does it just return to its bottle and wait for you to use it the next day?
2) does the efreeti return to the plane of fire?
3) is the efreeti permanemtly slain (absent wish/miracle/true resurection)?

Relevant game is tomorrow. If anyone has an answer I'd appreciate it.
I can find no good answer in the rules. My take would be to run it like a planar binding, since that is the pq for making it. This method will sometimes give bad results if you apply it when you have rulez already, or if it adds rules that don't need to be there.
Other route is to look at general rules for a calling vs summoning spell and pick the most logical one, I would go with calling.
