I was just wondering, does Rapid-Shot require you to only use one weapon?

You can make an additional ranged attack.

Prerequisites: Dex 13, Point-Blank Shot.

Benefit: When making a full-attack action with a ranged weapon, you can fire one additional time this round at your highest bonus. All of your attack rolls take a –2 penalty when using Rapid Shot.

It seems like you should be able to mix weapons, as I know that you can use Rapid-Shot with thrown weapons. However, I was wondering if, when using a bow or thrown weapons, can you combine Rapid-Shot with a bow/knives with throwing something like a smog pellet?

I'm leaning yes, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time that I missed something.

You'd either need Quick Draw, or some other means to free action get a throwing weapon into your hands.

Definitely, that could easily be an issue.

For the smog pellet, you could go with a Spring Loaded wrist sheath; swift action to deploy into your hand. Between attacks you deploy it, then continue.

In my games, we also let people simply deploy it towards the ground, instead of into their hand, to create the smog in their square as a swift action.

You probably wouldn't want to use the smog pellet that way - just a basic smoke pellet. :P (A smog pellet is a smoke pellet with anti-invisibility effects.)

Or use Shuriken which count as ammo for drawing purposes (free action by default).
