To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be

I am going to miss him. Without him, I would have never learned the folly of racism via blazing saddles.

That is a shame. He was brilliant.
Gene, you will be missed.

If you want to view Paradise,
Simply look around and you will.
Anything you want to do, do it.
Want to change the world? There's nothing to it.

Young Frankenstein will always be one of my favorite films. It is one of the most perfect satires. Gene Wilder was amazing in how he was both hilarious and accurately sending up the acting style of the old Universal monster films.

The list of films and the quality of the work put out by him was astounding. Though he hasn't done anything recently, he will be very much missed.

It's a film that would have lost a lot if it had been shot in color.

Skip (Wilder): "You see? You see what this city does to these people? All those two need is for someone to go over there and talk to them."

Harry (Pryor): "The little guy, needs his money. And the big guy needs a two-by-four upside his head, that's what he needs."

I loved that his comedy was at its best when he was being a little bit frightening and angry with it.

"Doctor Frankenstein."

"Fraunkensteen."

"You're putting me on?"

"No, it's pronounced Fraunkensteen."

"Do you also say Frodrick?"

"No, it's Fredrick."

"Well why isn't it Frodrick Fraunkensteen?"

"It isn't, it's Fredrick Fraunkensteen."

"I see."

"You must be Igor."

"No it's pronounced, Eigor."

"But they told me it was Igor."

"Well they were wrong then weren't they?"

"You were sent by Herr Falkstein, weren't you?"

"Yes. My Grandfather used to work for your Grandfather."

"I see."

"Of course the rates have gone up."

"Of course. I'm sure we'll get along splendidly. Oh, sorry I don't mean to embarrass you, but I am a rather gifted surgeon. Perhaps I can help you with that hump?"

"What hump?"
