Upgrading the Occultist!

Homebrew and House Rules

Hello! To keep this short, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about new implements, spells, or possibly even an additional school of implements (Universalist for example)

You could have implements that pick stuff from other classes, like a Bardic lute. You pick spells from the bard list, cast as psychic, passive bonus to social stuff, base power to do some bardic performance stuff.

EDIT: You could also do a brawler/fighter one where its a passive bonus to CMB/D and the base power is martial flexibility. Not too sure what'd you would do for spells though.

Occult Realms has some new implements, they're all rather specific, but might provide inspiration.

As far as New schools, the sky's the limit, I think it's a great idea, and as stated why hold yourself to one classes spell lists.

Have fun!

I'll try to come up with something myself. :-)

The Haunt Collector archetype from Horror Adventures lets you trade out entire suites of implement special abilities for those of the Medium's spirits' powers.

You're welcome. =-)

Thanks for your suggestions! I do like the idea of having an occultist that has an instrument that uses bard spells.

Perhaps an idea that you could have that branches to AmonMDs idea:
An Occultist that has a lute that uses the bard spells, a spellbook that uses the wizard spell list, and a holy symbol for cleric spells? That could be a decent idea... Let me know what you think!
