After picking up this new heroes of horror book and seek. The corruptions both myself and my GM are curious about it. With the go ahead from my GM I'm making an Aasimar with the vampirism corruption, I tend to fall into a arcane striker roll as we have a fighter front liner, a rogue type, a healer type, and a buffer in the form of a bard normally.
I normally end up a crit fishing magus, and while I love the class, and the big numbers from shocking grasp crits, I'm looking for something outside the box. I enjoy melee, arcane spell casting and most characters trickery in some form or another.
It's possible to swap rolls with another player, outside the front line fighter as all he plays are front line fighters. Race and corruption I'm pretty set in stone on. The rest is what I'm looking for help with.
I saw some interesting ideas about blackblade magus with a polearm, and possibly spear dancing style, but I'm unsure how a blackblades enchantments would work on both ends of a weapon.
TL;DR Help with a horror themed Aasimar with vampirism corruption. Race and corruption set in stone.
Traits selected so far trustworthy, and auspicious tattoo. Keeping will save high, and diplomacy to get into homes and feedings.

In terms of trickery mentioned above, illusions like major image, darting duplicate, disguise and alter self have been used in the past for confusion and distractions. I'm fairly comfortable with most rules, and don't tend to take long turns, needing to flip through books for spells and such. I'm not looking for super complicated just something a little different then a crit fishing magus with a scimitar or rapier.

As someone currently building a polearm-magus with varying success success (though luckily the people on this forum have been very helpful) I can share what I've learnt so far:
I've found Spear Dancing Spiral a tricky road - it's a lot of Feats to get the Polearm one handed and even more if you want to put Reach back in (even then to do so is a Swift action, which the Magus is has a lot of uses for). Weapon Trick (Polearm) is much easier, but doesn't allow dex/Weapon Finesse as the Elven Branch Spear is a Spear, not a Polearm.
I've not found any official conclusion on the double-weapon Black Blade though, unfortunately.
However, based on what you're looking for, if you're willing to drop the 'Arcane' part of your requirements a Vampiric Aasimar Cult Leader War Priest would be incredibly cool in a in a Horror-based game. It's also very similar to the Magus/Arcane Striker whilst being different enough to make a change.
You have:
Better Will saves to resist your Corruption (due to greater focus on Wisdom).
Swift Action casts of buffs and free weapon proficiency in your god's favoured weapon. This means you can Spell Casting whilst in Melee Combat and although you don't get the Spell-Combat + SpellStrike combo War Priest gets various other melee boosts (including Fervor).
For Trickery, this archetype gives you a number of bonuses, starting with have 4+ skill points instead of the 2+ of the Magus or Warpriest (though that might be a wash as a Magus would probably have higher Int).
At level 3 you'd get Sneak Attack and you end up capable of Enthralling and Hiding In Plain Sight.
And that's without choosing your Blessings, which depending on what you pick could make you better at any of the Melee/Casting/Trickery themes.
Darkness, Curse and Trickery all look both strong and in-theme for an Aasimar turning vampire, but there are plenty more benevolent blessings that could increase damage or allow other tricks.

After speaking with my GM we've come up with the idea that my Aasimar and a second Aasimar were taken captive by a vampire, feed on repeatedly, and tortured. In a mistake while attempting to escape my Aasimar kills the second which was glamoured to appear to be a vampire sleeping as a final torture. He was still able to escape, but now is ashamed of his misdeed and looks to redeem himself.
Long story short, was looking at vampirism corruption Aasimar Magus, variant multiclass summon to have the "ghost" of the second Aasimar as an ally in later levels. Unsure on weapons and such yet, but looking to use some illusions and such. Likely going with a strength build magus as I normally ayed the crit fishing dex magus.
Trustworthy and Auspicious tattoo to have diplomacy and higher will saves are pretty well set in stone, the variant multiclass isnt however set in stone just seemed flavorful.
