We're starting a new campaign, and one of the players asked if this combo would work for his Urban Bloodrager.
Relevant text:
Bloodrage-
A bloodrager can enter a bloodrage as a free action. While in a bloodrage, a bloodrager gains a +4 morale bonus to his Strength and Constitution...
A bloodrager can end his bloodrage as a free action. When the bloodrage ends, he's fatigued for a number of rounds equal to twice the number of rounds spent in the bloodrage. A bloodrager cannot enter a new bloodrage while fatigued or exhausted, but can otherwise enter bloodrage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a bloodrager falls unconscious, his bloodrage immediately ends, placing him in peril of death.
Controlled Bloodrage-
Opportunistic Gambler-
Heart of the Fields-
...and once per day they may ignore an effect that would cause them to become fatigued or exhausted. This racial trait replaces skilled.
So the question is, can he enter a Controlled Bloodrage to gain, say, +4 Dexterity, end his rage on the next turn, ignoring the fatigue, and keep the +4 Dex for 1d4 rounds, and enter a new Controlled Bloodrage for +4 to Strength?

The issue that jumps out at me is that Opportunistic Gambler is a Campaign trait. As such, the system doesn't assume it to be available unless you're playing the Second Darkness Adventure Path. At the GM's discretion, the trait might be made available.
Regardless of that... it doesn't work anyway, because of the Rage FAQ. They're bonuses to different stats, but they're both from a rage effect, so it's one or the other. ^_^

I don't see it not working currently, but do know that Opportunistic Gambler is a strong trait, and it was made that way because it's a campaign trait, Second Darkness.
If you're not playing that campaign they really shouldn't have access to that trait (you didn't say if you are or not so I'm just stating this to be safe).
Edit: Ninjaed by Kali.
That being said, wouldn't they be able to use it this way? Since it's not actually a different rage ability?

I think the spirit of the FAQ is fairly clear, though: one rage at a time.
Eh, good point :3

Ah, thank you, I see it now. Opportunistic Gambler extends Rage itself, not just the bonuses. So if you ended Rage, but the trait said it lasts 2 rounds after, you won't even be fatigued til that time.
Ok, thank you all. I didn't think the combo was broken, just a little weird, and I wondered why I'd never heard of anyone trying it before, especially with Rage cycling tactics.
No, we're not playing in a specific campaign, we usually allow everyone 2 free traits and our group just picks them off d20pfsrd, which files off the serial numbers so it's not readily apparent that a trait is from an Adventure Path. We do occasionally run into traits that seem very strong, but I think the only ones we've had to ban so far are Finding Haleen and Defensive Strategist.
This one doesn't seem terribly bad, though I imagine if everyone in the party took it, and we had a Bard, it'd be...well not annoying, but definitely better synergy than I'd normally expect.

D20pfsrd still shows trait categories, so you can simply exclude campaign traits specifically, as they very likely won't make sense.
