Hi, i'm new to the forums, but i have a question involving the spellweaver class. we have all the rules for converting a spell over and allowing them to use those spells, but what about creating an entirely new effect or altering an existing one.
for example, if i wanted to take a shield spell and increase it's time to hours. by the rules for converting to a weave this would increase the DC by 1 if all others stayed the same. is this possible or am i reading too much into this?
on the one hand i enjoy the idea of the class in general, because it seems almost like completely free casting. if you can create new spells on the fly, by dictating what effects you want, that would then make this my favorite spell casting class ever just due to the level of creativity that could be applied.
