I can't seem to print full size maps (that is, with 1-inch grid squares) from my Skull and Shackles Map Pack PDF. How do I extract them from the document?
If this is impossible, then I have to ask: What is the point of selling worthless maps to players? If I wanted tiny maps we couldn't play on, I would have just stuck to what's in the adventure module.

For PFS online games I use this website. Your file might be too large though.

Check this Video Tutorial or This Written Guide.
There is also at least one GM who prints maps to fabric using Spoonflower. It's a pricy option, but it would be great for convention travel as a GM, something that I've started to do more and more of lately.
I've been thinking of doing that to create a set of maps for all the evergreen scenarios that I GM over and over again, including Confirmation, Wounded Wisp, Consortium Compact and the Phantom Phenomena Quest Series. Thanks for reminding me that I should try to put this together.
I hope that this helps!

I wouldn´t download anything from that softonic page linked in the written guide, they want to install an .exe on your PC and have a very dubious service in my eyes (hint: i think that´s installing some spy and adware on your system if not even a virus.)
Nitro Reader is probably best for image extraction. There´s a special button which extracts any image in a given pdf.
Use any software like gimp, photoshop or others as you see fit to edit the picture.
Posterazor lets you then scale the image over several pages, as you wish, and save it as a pdf file again, which you can then easily print.
Use 200mg paper. You can even print them on 2 sides with different maps.
Laminate them and you get something like a flipmat, useable from 2 sides, more stable and you can write on it with removable markers.
