So, I'm GMing a party who recently took back Fort Rannick. The've found some Spirit Moss (on a sidetreck) and are now using it to ask the dead body of Lucrecia questions.
They have found the connection between the Sihedron mark, and harvesting souls.
I know that the Lamia Matriarchs origins from Xin Shalast according to the AP.
I welcome any ideas on how to answer the following question in an exiting, foreshadowing way:
How do you transport the souls from Turtleback Ferry to a Runewell?

I've yet to read further in the AP so the question to me is: does she actually know?
How about telling them of the River of Souls and how the souls are harvested, using a planar conduit via Leng and then back to the material plane and into the runewell?

Good idea with the River of Souls, Leng etc. Gives me room to "educate" about the multiverse and such.

I doubt she knows the specifics - Karzoug is the Runelord of Greed, after all, so he probably keeps the secrets of the runewell close to his chest. She knows that the greed in the souls of creatures bearing the Sihedron when they die will have that pulled from them en route to the Boneyard. Her lord has given her a commandment, and that's probably enough for her. Really, anything more than "Sihedron on a body directs the soul to Karzoug" is probably a stretch. She might know that the soul isn't actually held in the runewell, but I could see her not knowing that, mostly because it's not important to her.
