Question:
Do these together allow one to poison the gauntlet, hold a touch spell like shocking grasp, & attack unarmed for 1d6 lethal bludgeoning damage with no attack of oppertunity (no AoO?!?)? This is a thing, correct? At level 2 my shocking grasp would be 2d6 and my unarmed strike (with gauntlet and stone fist) would be 1d6+str bonus and some poison on the gauntlet so my hands don't touch it. I will soon be a level 2 sorcerer. Further down the line I would want to upgrade the gauntlet with frost. So that would be 1d6+str bonus & 1d6 frost & 5d6 (the maximum) for shocking grasp & poison on the gauntlet with no AoO.
Please don't:
Also, please don't talk about magus and the Spellstrike. Every time I post about the gauntlet + touch attack there is someone confused. Just please no.
Citation:
on the prd for gauntlet (ultimate equipment)
This metal glove lets you deal lethal damage rather than nonlethal damage with unarmed strikes. A strike with a gauntlet is otherwise considered an unarmed attack. The cost and weight given are for a single gauntlet. Medium and heavy armors (except breastplates) come with gauntlets. Your opponent cannot use a disarm action to disarm you of gauntlets.
on the prd for stone fist (advanced players guide)
This spell transforms your hands into living stone. While this spell is in effect, your unarmed strikes do not provoke attacks of opportunity and deal 1d6 points of lethal bludgeoning damage (1d4 if you are Small). In addition, your unarmed strikes ignore the hardness of any object with a hardness less than 8.
Stone to flesh immediately dispels stone fist. Should you be the target of transmute rock to mud, this spell immediately ends and you take 4d6 points of damage.

Wearing a gauntlet over the stone fist would do gauntlet damage to my way of thinking.
The gauntlet can be poisoned just fine, and discharges on the first hit.
The held spell will not affect the stone fist, so is held just fine.
I would use gloves as they would not affect the stone fist damage and can also be poisoned.
I would be more concerned about the 1/2 BAB making it difficult to hit, and the small HD meaning low HP.

I got that covered. +4 armor from arcane armor, +4 shield from shield, +4 con from becoming a water elemental, +4 natural armor from becoming a water elemental, and true strike.
