Hey guys! I am new to playing pathfinder so I am not very familiar with the rules yet. Therefore I’m sorry if the answer to this question is obvious. :)
I was wondering if I would be able to make/obtain a modified Ring of Animal Friendship that would only work on a certain species. For example, I created a character with a lion theme so I thought that it would be cool if she had a Ring of Animal Friendship that only worked on felines. Is this type of modification possible? In addition, the rulebook says that the construction requirements for the regular Ring of Animal Friendship are: forge ring, charm animal, and 5,400 gp. If the modification is possible, would I need to do anything extra so that it will only work on one particular species?
