Hey all, I am needing assistance building my wild shapes in pathfinder. I have played a wild shaping druid in 3.5 and it was super easy. Now in pathfinder I am finding a little bit more challenging. I just built my Allosaurus wild shape and I am not impressed with the very minimal changes there is. This is my Fist of the Forest Build so far.
Human LN
1 Monk(master of many style, scared mountain) 6 Druid (Saurian Shaman)
STR 19 DEX 14 CON 14 INT 10 WIS 16 CHA 7
BAB +4 Melee Attack bonus +8 (BAB 4 + STR 4)
Claws +9 (1d6+6)
AC 17 (+2 Bracers of armor, +2 Dex, +3 Wis)
CMB 8 (4 BAB + 4 STR) CMD 23 (4 BAB + 4 STR + 2 DEX + 3 WIS + 10)
Feats
Improved Grapple (1st level)
Improved Initiative (human bonus)
Improved unarmed Strike (Monk bonus)
Stunning Fist (Monk bonus)
Dragon Style (Monk Bonus - Master of many styles)
Weapons focus (Claws) (3rd level, Access to claws from Totem Transformation)
Feral Combat Training (Claws) (5th level
Natural Spell (7th level)
At level 6 my claws do 1d6 unarmed damage from feral combat training instead of claw damage. Dragon style allows for 1.5 x str on my unarmed damage. So I am doing 1d6+6 at level 6.
We just leveled to 7th level which with my totem for druid now allows me to wild shape into Huge Dino's and reptiles but only medium and small everything else.
Now if I am understanding how wild shape works for pathfinder, I only really get what is described in Beast Shape III, the special qualities, and for huge size STR +6, DEX -4, Natural armor +6.
Allosaurus wild shape
STR 25 DEX 10 CON 14 INT 10 WIS 16 CHA 7
BAB +4 Melee Attack bonus +9 (BAB 4 + STR 7 - 2 SIZE)
Space/Reach 15ft/15ft
Claws +10 (2d6+10) - Unarmed damage increased from 1d6 => 1d8 => 2d6 for 2 size category change
Bite +9 (2d6+7 Grab)
AC 17 (-2 size +6 Natural armor +3 Wis)
CMB 11 (4 BAB + 7 STR +2 Size) CMD 24 (4 BAB + 7 STR + 0 DEX + 3 WIS +2 size + 10)
Special Qualities from wild shape
Low light vision
Scent
Pounce
Rake (Claws 2d6+10)
-8 size to stealth
My Question: Is there something I am missing? I feel like I am missing something. I've looks at wild shape calculator and I dont find them helpful at all. I've looks for interactive character sheets but there are none out there for wild shape (think it would be a little challenging). None of the forums out there explain all the benefits you get when you change shape/size. And the books/websites send you to like 10 different locations to find the basic info.

First off, Feral Combat training allows the use of a natural weapon for feats that have Improved Unarmed Strike as a prerequisite. So you could use Stunning Fist with claws. This does not increase the damage of your natural attack to your unarmed strike damage so your claw attacks will be 1d8 damage. However, using claws with Dragon Style will still allow your 1.5 STR on damage rolls... for the first claw/unarmed strike that round and can charge through difficult terrain.
You seem to have everything else correct though... what are you unhappy with concerning your wild shape?
