Iblydos

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Scarab Sages

I just discovered Iblydos & Aelyosos and was curious if anyone knew the human languages spoken in these areas. I know there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about them yet but thought maybe I've missed something.

There's not any official language on the books, but there is likely an Iblydan language spoken throughout the archipelago. Due to the heavy trade traffic of the Obari Passage, many citizens are likely versed in Common, Vudrani, and the languages of southern Casmaron (Kelish and perhaps others we haven't covered yet).

That would be a good starting point for any Iblydan campaign. Perhaps future publications might expand on the linguistic options, among other Iblydan information.

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks so much! I'll keep my eyes out for future publications regarding Iblydos & Casmaron with keen interest. I appreciate your response.

My pleasure. As always, one of the best ways to let us know what you'd like to see more of is to leave a review for that product.

There's a little information on Aelyosos, a trading city in Iblydos, in the camaign setting book Distant Shores.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Yakman. If you have a chance to write a few sentences about your feedback or impressions, it would be great to have you post a review for Distant Shores. Reviews help shape what books we choose to write in the future.
