I was mapping out my naga aspirant character and I was curious what magic items are usable when you're shifted. I know natural spell talks about this but in my search I can't seem to find what is allowable. My main concern is for my naga shape at sixth. I assume head and eye slots since I keep my characters head and face. Would the neck slot still function? Or the chest? Having no arms or shoulders I figure no gloves, bracers, cloaks. Also no boots or belts?

Pretty much anything that provides a constant benefit that you were wearing except your armor, and possibly bracers of armor (which are bad anyway) shifts with you and keeps working.

My understand is they meld with you/ into you. The natural spell feat says "This feat does not permit the use of magic items while you are in a form that could not ordinarily use them, "

You want to read the polymorph rules in the magic chapter. When polymorphed into non humanoid forms generally items meld into your body.

Anything which provides a constant benefit (eg ring of protection, cloak of resistance etc) continues to work. Anything which needs to be activated does not (e.g boots of haste).

Armour melds into your new form but may still impact on you. There is a FAQ about polymorph use and armours.

Thanks, I'll have to find it and go from there. I've never really had to deal with Druid abilities since I rarely see them.
