Edit: For what it's worth, I would say yes. But to be honest, it wouldn't just be invisible, it would be stealthed and anyone who suspects anything would have to make a *huge* Perception check to notice anything strange. Only something like detect evil would do it, and even then, the person casting it would have no motive for casting it on a spell effect without knowing the vampire was in there.
It would be like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles. Also the needle is invisible.

I assume that obscuring mist is white. On the other hand, though gaseous form makes a creature misty, it does not say anything about changing the color. So a black-clad vampire in gaseous form would be a black cloud. If a vampire wants to hide in obscuring mist, he should wear white.
That seems reasonable. Getting your various gases to have matching color would be important if you wanted to completely camouflage it.
I also assume that, even if the colors are similar, there would be a predator like movement effect where you see the outlines.
