Looking through my chronicle sheets I found an item called the Underworld Earth Breaker (to judge a soul, pt 2) that says "and its bearer can use the dazzling display feat 1/day". The first thing I noticed is it says bearer, not wielder. And the second is that it is limited per day.
Does this item qualify my character (if they have weapon focus (unarmed strike) and enough base attack bonus) for the shatter defenses feat? Do I lose access to the shatter defenses feat if I use the hammer? Can the shatter defenses be used with other weapons if I qualify for it this way?

1) Maybe. This is hotly debated on the boards. I expect PFS has an applicable definite answer (my bet is on No).
2) Yes. You wouldn't lose the feat, but it would stop working until and unless you got Dazzling Display some other way.
3) Since the UEB says the bearer "can use the Dazzling Display feat" not "can use the Dazzling Display feat with this weapon" (going by your quoted text, I'm not familiar with the item), it'd let you Dazzle with anything, so you could use Shatter Defenses with anything.
