Living Monolith requirements

Mummy's Mask

I may be playing in a Mummies Mask campaign soon, and I want to play a bloodrager/living monolith. My problem is I was to start taking levels in living monolith ASAP, and I'm a little worried by the requirement of having a sphinx or living monolith present about when we would hit level 6. Am I worrying too much, or is this something I need to work out with my GM?

Discuss it with your GM. There are adjustments that can be made in Empty Graves to accommodate the requirement, but the GM will need to prepare.

Definitely talk to the GM ahead of time. Role-play requirements can be hand-waved, done away with or even re-flavored with relative ease, often to the betterment of the story. In an all-dwarf campaign to the Emerald Spire, we had a pair of dwarven brothers whom earned redemption after disgrace and became inheritors of the ancestral role of Torag's 'Stone Brothers'. Rather than a sphinx, they were anointed by a Dwarven Cleric of Torag whom had been a long-time family friend and had been asked by the family to accompany the brothers as they sought to redeem themselves. Mechanically exactly the same as the Living Monolith prestige class.
