FAQ on Alchemist Craft Bonus and Day Job Checks?

I started researching if Alchemists get their bonus to crafting Alchemical items to day job checks and I found this post.

In summary, in April 2013 RainyDayNinja formally asked for a FAQ on this and Paizo marked it as "Added to FAQ" at some point after that. I cannot find the exact question in the FAQ, so I expect that they answered a related question and understanding that should set some light on this.

If you search for "Day Job" in the FAQ there are three entries. Two entries were added in August 2013, the third in 2012. If you search "Alchemist" in the FAQ all entries are from earlier than April 2013 so we can rule out their relevance.

This is assuming that "Added to the FAQ" means they, you know, added something to the FAQ after the question was asked.

So we are left these two as being relevant to this question:

Are shirt rerolls are allowed on day job checks?
Yes.

Do Eidolons add to day job rolls?

The Eidolon is not a permanent effect, therefore does not apply to day job rolls.

I don't see a relationship between shirt re-rolls and the alchemist bonus to crafting alchemical items, so I doubt that is relevant.

It is a permanent bonus, so now I'm leaning toward that interpretation.

Do you guys see something in the FAQ that I missed? Something that is relevant to this question?

No it's not since it's not adding a bonus to all uses of the skill.

What they're saying is that since the alchemist ability doesn't add to all uses of the skill it doesn't give you the bonus.

The counter argument being that as an alchemist making money you make money by making alchemical stuff.

I'm sorry I was not clear.

I'm not asking your opinions, Paizo seems to think that it answered the question in the FAQ and I'm not seeing it.

I agree with the conservative interpenetration, but I'm not seeing any support for it in the FAQ.

I'm asking what is in the FAQ that is relevant to this question? Because I the only thing I see in there seems to be a stretch.

And I'm not giving opinions.
Answered in FAQ was their old way of saying, no response needed, to get it out of their queue.

If i had something better than my opinion (or my opinion on the current state of differing opinions) I would give it, but as it stands we don't know.

That is a horrible way to handle this. "Added to the FAQ" with a link to the FAQ it strongly implies that there is something in the FAQ.

Why not something like "no response needed"?

There is now. At the time the only way to clear it was to mark as answered.

They didn't have an option of "no response needed" hence why it was their old way to get things out of their queue.

I'll state officially if it comes up while I GM I'm going with the bonus not being added, that is mostly because I tend to be conservative on these things.

I can see the other side though. So if there are two camps in this, not agreeing on a rule interpenetration and Paizo just replies "no response needed" doesn't this actually mean there is a response needed? even if it just something on the message boards?
