I posted another blog post about the Paizo's top 10 list.

I'm thinking of expanding to third party D&D 5th ed stuff but that means I'll probably have to change the name of these blog posts or make them separate posts.

Beforehand I thought Path of War was relatively polarizing. I had read up on enough complaints around the web to start an article titled 'Is Path of War Balanced'. And a month later I'm still not done with the article because the answer is all kinds of complicated.

But seeing it on the top ten list in many weeks that I've payed attention to the list, it seems pretty damn popular when it comes to people downloading it.

It has a large following on the GiTP boards, and personally I'm pro PoW myself, as I'm a big fan of ToB, so I'm not shocked to see its expansion doing so well. I doubt anything will overtake it for quite a while.

Thanks for the shout out to Call to Arms: Ceremonial Masks, Malwing.

I think masks are such a cool visual element, but they've kind of languished in terms of potential magic items (especially when you consider the head slot doesn't typically have "must have" items, since the various stat-boosting items are all headbands).

I just a few hours ago turned over the sequel, which I'm really excited about too. I think it's got a lot of fun new masks (including the last one I did, which I felt kind of dirty writing) AND, since it fits so well, a big section using new rules from Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Ultimate Intrigue! Looks for it soon...
