to put it another way, are there any enchantment spells that aren't charm or compulsion effects?

Not many, but looking through the first 6 levels of the Sor/Wiz spell lists:
Keep watch,
Delay pain
[emotion] ( I don't see anything specifically in the [emotion] description that labels it as charm or compulsion, though it does reference the fear emotion, which is usually necromancy. Fear effects seem to be typically be mind-affecting but not necessarily charm or compulsions),
and Apparent master

oh! i should've specified that i'm referring to spells in the core rulebook only.

Liberty's Edge

Originally, those were the only two types. Ultimate Magic added emotion spells.

In the core rulebook, yes. Elsewhere, no.

For example:
business booms, delay pain, enshroud thoughts, instant enemy, keep watch, memorize page, memory lapse, prosperous room, severed fate, swallow your fear, utter contempt
