Secret Broker hole?

I was reading up on the Secret Broker Occultist archetype, and was unpleasantly surprised to discover that it loses magic circles, but keeps Outside Contact. How does that work considering the latter is dependent on the former?

It has been noted before. I just put in the errata thread, maybe it'll get fixed some day.

Orphaned abilities that don't make sense is a rare but not unique outcome of archetypes. See also the Metamorph Alchemist in this book who retains Brew Potion that he can't use without having extracts.
