Basically does vital strike double the damage dice of Boulder Bullet ?
Usually, you can't Vital Strike with a catapult because it doesn't attack a target, it creates an area effect. Boulder Bullet specifically still works as a targeted attack; furthermore, it explicitly changes the base damage. Vital Strike certainly works.
