Unchained with Earlier Stuff

Rules Questions

Recently got the Unchained book and was wondering about a few things.
Specifically can you combine the Unchained classes with the earlier archtypes?

- Unchained Summoner with the Shaitan Binder archtype (Oread).
- Unchained Monk with the Student of Stone archtype (Oread).

Those happened to be the first two that came to mind since I was just reading about Oreads. Though I'm not just interested in just those two, but in general.

You can combine them, but you can only do so, if those archetype changes the same features, and if those features appear at the same levels as the base class.

This hurts Monk and Summoner A LOT.

But for Shaitan Binder, as far as I see, it works with Unchained.

Student of Stone is a nope, because the features it aims to trade out are instead made into Ki Powers, which is a different feature.

Ok, I guess that is reasonable.

The Shaitan Binder gives the eidolon evolutions that don't seem to exist any more. Do you get those old evolutions anyway, or do you just get nothing?

I would go with the idea that any evolution not specifically mentioned in Pathfinder Unchained is the same between the original and unchained summoners.

Good point, I didn't think to check the existing evolutions, assuming they didn't change.
Not sure then....
