Hey guys.
I've been toying with some kind of modern-day/superhero vibe game and am looking for some adventures and ideally paths to run.
Iron Gods at least thematically had some of the elements I'm going for but, since I haven't read the books yet, how easy might it be to convert this path to modern day and 'real world?' I.e. Is it engrained in fantasy to the point where a conversion like this would be impossible?
Thanks!

You would have to rewrite pretty much everything, may I suggest looking at supplements for Superhero games for ideas for SUperhero games, they will be structured to fit a modern/super world instead of a fantasy world, off hand none of the AP's would be any use for conversion to a modern/super background beyond a basic concept.
The concept of Iron gods Crashed alien space ship, rogue AI seeking Divinity could work as a superhero plot but the entire structure is totally wrong for a modern world

Thanks John. As I hadn't read it, I didn't want to go through it and effectively spoil it for myself as a player on the off chance that the theme could work for what I want to do.
I have been looking for more modern/hero type material but have found it frustratingly difficult to find anything in the way of published arcs.
I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and write my own.

There was a trilogy of 3.5 E Eberron modules in Dungeon Magazine that I think would fit Batman or Green Arrow type characters. They are Chimes at Midnight, Quoth the Raven, and From Hell's Heart. They all deal with thwarting a rogues gallery of monster criminals while dealing with a rival inquisitive (detective).

The first two adventures were in the print version of Dungeon. Hell's Heart was released in PDF format after Dungeon went online. I had also given some thought to using Mythic Adventures to make the characters seem more like super heroes rather than just regular high level PCs. I also toyed with the idea of running the modules using a d20 super hero rules set like Silver Age Sentinels or the older edition of Mutants and Masterminds.

For Superhero's I got lots of useful stuff from various Champions/Hero system adventures (and golden hero's but that is not reallya vailable now days) and have seen some decent stuff for Mutants and Masterminds but I don't get much of their stuff as my exposure to the game mechanics was negative.
For a modern game it really depends on what you mean Police/Mercenary/Urban Fantasy/X-Files/Espionage all have their own styles. Currently I am looking at Dracula redacted (Nights Dark Agents) as a modern VAmpire/Espionage campaign. For modern Horror Call of Cthulu.
You could also try converting Shadowrun material, it is near future but could be scaled back to a modern setting more easily than a fantasy setting can be brought forward.
I use a lot of systems and Pathfinder is not one I find built for general use it runs perfectly well for its own genre for other genre's I use a tool better suited for the job and many of them come with their own literature to help come up with something to run
