Details on the Sun Orchid Elixir auctions

Been reading through "Death's Heretic, and it mentions, as I recall from a first meeting, that each major city in Thuvia takes turn hosting the auctions, but I don't think there's a mention of when the auction takes place or if it takes place the same time of year each year.

Is there a specific time that the auction takes place?

Based on my own reading, it does not appear that we've specified a time of the year when the elixir shipments emerge from the Citadel of the Alchemist. Assuming that the Pathfinder Society organized play campaign's scenario publication schedule lines up approximately with when in the year those events take place, the upcoming several scenarios suggest the elixirs arrive in late spring. Presumably, the auction takes place shortly thereafter.

However, I do not anticipate that the scenarios will specify the time of year. The calendric season doesn't really play into those adventures' storyline.

Just going from memory here, but aren't the auctions every 5 years? Most of my info comes from playing an older Pathfinder Society scenario (The Immortal Conundrum) that dealt with this.

It happens every year, but which city-state runs the show and takes the proceeds rotates every year. Hence, it seems to happen once every five years from the perspective of an individual city.

However Hasn't it been like 5 years since the inner sea world guide was written and pashow is going to be in trouble if this one does not arrive safely.

Is there really a note of which city state goes which years.

I agree that it would be a shame if Pashow missed its next shipment. Hopefully we'll see one or more adventures that plot thread!

As for the schedule, I don't think we've established anywhere where the elixirs go and in what order. For the purposes of one's home game, I would just send the elixirs to the city where you most want to set an adventure.
