Harbor

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

Was just asked this interesting question

At this location if you acquire a boon, a character may move to another location

Does this character need to currently be at the harbor? Or was simply acquiring the boon at the harbor act as a trigger for someone moving to another location (from anywhere)

Don't have my cards with me, but if that's the exact card text, then any one character can move (from anywhere to anywhere) whenever you acquire a boon while at the Harbor. So, you don't need to be the one that moves, however you do need to be at the Harbor when you get the boon in order to trigger that power.

We made a lot of use of it in those scenarios with locations that have nasty "At the start of your turn" effects. One player at the harbour, the other player exploring the nasty location then taking advantage of the harbour power to go to the beach before their next turn. I figured that was the whole point of it.
