Player Companion traits - limits?

Advice

Dark Archive

I was preparing a PFS inquisitor character and downloaded the Faiths of Balance Player Companion to get a better understanding of Phrasma-worship. I saw the companion offered me a pair of Pharasma-based traits, but unlike the racial and class traits in the Advancecd and Core books, these don't mention needing to swap out an existing trait. Is there any rules about applying these? Is there a limit?

You've wandered into the card game forum. I've flagged your post. But some folks around here are pretty knowledgeable about the RPG, so you may get an answer.

I don't have Faiths of Balance, but I'm guessing they're just regular traits that you can select at character creation. If that is indeed what they are, then the restrictions on picking traits in that link apply (e.g. only one trait per category), as well as any additional restrictions PFS imposes (I do not play PFS, but I'd assume that it allows the standard 2 traits, along with an additional optional drawback to gain a 3rd trait).

Character traits are abilities that are not tied to race or class. link

In PFS, you can choose two traits (no drawbacks). You could not take both of the Pharasma traits because they are both religion traits.

(Hate to move again, but probably better in PFS general or Advice)

Thanks :)
