My wife made the mistake of mentioning Darkwing Duck to me whilst theorycrafting last night. Needless to say, I need to try to make him a thing. I'm thinking that modifying Tengu would be the easiest thing to do for the race, I'm just not sure what.
For class, I was leaning more towards Investigator than Vigilante, but mostly because I haven't seen anything on our incoming class.
Thoughts, ideas, etc are welcome.

Investigator seems really sleuthy.
If you're going to have a fowl world setting for the character, where everyone is an anthropomorphic bird or small mammal, then you could just reskin each race as being a type of bird or creature. Maybe elves are swans, dwarves are moles, humans are ducks, half-orc are geese, and halfling are pigeons, so on...
I was thinking more sleuthy, but I also know he has one of his mentals as a dump. I'm thinking more WIS as a dump.
Scythia, it's not so much for an entire campaign, more just something hilarious I might throw at my players when they're not even thinking anything of the sort.
Smilo, the bird ninja idea was something I considering for something else entirely. But then the idea of a detective has been something else I wanted to do for a while. At one iteration, it was a Gunslinger/Psion (DSP.)
I want to combine a crit-fishing tengu ninja with Butterfly Sting and something with a naginata (x4).
Apparently, in the upcoming Ultimate Intrigue book, there's going to be an archetype of the Vigilante class that specializes in using Occultist-style gadgets. That might work as a fair approximation of DW in a fantasy setting.
Yeah, I keep looking at Vigilante for this, because I know it'll end up being a more appropriate option. Not sure about "better," as I've seen how high up our lovely board ranks Investigator, but I suppose only time will tell.
