I ordered one physical edition of the Pathfinder Pawns: Bestiary Box and woke in the morning to see that my card was charged three times for it. Is there a way to cancel the other two transactions?

Hello LuminousBasket,

You have not been charged several times for the order, or at all. What you are seeing are authorizations, not charges. Your card was being declined due to failing the address verification system. Usually this happens when the billing address on the card does not match what the bank has on file. Each time an attempt to place the order was made the bank got pinged to make sure the card was valid. When this happens most banks will put a temporary hold on the funds. This can look like a pending transaction on your end. Because the card was declined none of these authorizations can be finalized. If not finalized authorizations expire and the holds are released. How long that takes is entirely up to the bank and not something we can control, but it is usually a few business days.

I have issued authorization request reversals. These let the bank know that we cannot finalize the authorizations and they can release them. They should be able to see these right away, but again, how long it takes them to release the authorizations is ultimately up to them.
