What a difference in 13 hours can make...

We did it! 100% funded! We reached our 100% initial funding goal in 13 hours. I want to thank everyone who helped make this happen. We could have done this without you! So with this goal reach let’s start working on the stretch goals to add even more interesting things to this Kickstarter! And don’t forget to tell your friend to Back Us for a Buck! Because every little bit helps. Once again thanks to everyone support of Louis Porter Jr Design and Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter for Pathfinder RPG!

So one full day into this Kickstarter and it looks like are over 140% of our goal, nearly half way to our next threshold goal, less than 5 donors from reaching our 100th backer for this Kickstarter, and about to release TWO Backer Objective Rewards which include:

- Introduction to 3PP Campaign Worlds added to the printed version of complete Crisis of the World Eater campaign serial.

- All Donors at $49 and up can Submit 2 Hazards / Haunts for possible publication

Not bad for one day into the Kickstarter. I wonder what day two will hold for us. I am guessing MORE cool stuff! As always, thanks for your support of 3PP and this Kickstarter!

I just did a Google hangouts with the guys at Nerdarchy about Louis Porter Jr. Design, the Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter, Pathfinder RPG, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and many other gaming and comic related material. Go give it a watch here!

Transparency Agenda 100: Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter & Promotion.

I'd just like to point out that for $19, you get pdfs of the main adventures and ALL the side material.

For $49, you get print copies of the main adventures and ALL the side material.

That's less than half the projected retail price. You're saving quite a bit of money getting in on this now.

Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter for Pathfinder Roleplaying Game March 3 update - How are we doing?

So Maat Medeiros just sent me the "special" iconics we have created specifically for Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter. They are:

Kayleith Umboros (Human Unchained Barbarian)
Chimi Semtain (Samsaran Cleric)
Vertigo (Kasatha Unchained Rogue)
Form Maker (Wyrwood Transmuter)

I wonder WHY these races were chosen for these iconics? I wonder what does that mean from the Kickstarter? So many questions that need to be answered...

So I made a blog post describing my feelings about this kickstarter because I've actually been anticipating it a lot, but I have a few questions about things I haven't felt were clear enough.

So just how much crunch outside of the adventure is planned? I would love to see reiteration of Necropunk crunch that's more in line with the reast of the rules. I'm also thrilled with any scifi or scifantasy crunch that gets out there.

How do the different campaign settings incorporate into the story? Going to different dimensions? Interstellar travel?

Does the World Eater have Heralds and do you have a picture of it if it does?

Thanks for the blog post. We all really appricated it. I will try to answer the questions the best I can.

We are setting the adventure on a generic world that can easily drop into you home campaigns. We are also planned (if we reach them) two more books that focus on The Deliverers of Omega (All the bad guys and their cool toys) and the Onyx Cabal (Think super team of bad guys working against the PCs). We are also doing a Universal Atlas for 3PP that you get a little info about each setting and world involved.

When we reach the 3PP threshold goals you will learn that they are ct=reating their own sidetrek adventures that tie into the main adventure but also act as introduction adventures to those settings.

We have found a way to let the PCs travel from place to place. Think Stargate and you will be in the right ballpark.

Yes the World Eater does. [b]http://lpjdesign.com/images/Crisis%20Ad-8.jpgThe herald is Asa and you have already see it.[b]

Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter - March 6 Update

Less that $2,000 from out next threshold goal. PLEASE help us reach it! Click here to donate to the Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter!

So just to clarify some things, the project includes;

The Prelude: A Warning Too Late. (lvl 5)

The Alpha adventure: Immortal Wrath of the Armageddon Angel. (lvl 6-8)

The Delta adventure: Devourer of a Thousand Worlds. (lvl 12-14)

The Omega adventure: Inheritor of Entropy Heart. (lvl 18-20)

Third party campaign settings detailed in printed editions of these adventures.

My questions are;

On the side I hear about sidetreks adventures. Are these meant to fill in the gaps of lvl 9-11, and 15-17?

Are these included in any of the rewards?

Are there any plans for lvl 1-4?

Would this campaign fit in a tech heavy campaign setting? (spacefaring society)

Yes this will be added to the collected book.

The Alpha adventure: Immortal Wrath of the Armageddon Angel. (lvl 6-8)

The Delta adventure: Devourer of a Thousand Worlds. (lvl 12-14)

As of right now these two books will be given to donors in a collected format (POD and PDF) and as individual adventure (PDF).

The Omega adventure: Inheritor of Entropy Heart. (lvl 18-20)

We have not reached it yet BUT we are only $1,800 from reaching it, so we should reach it.

These are threshold goals that are later in this kickstarter and we MAY NOT reach them if we don't get enough people supporting this kickstarter.

Yes.

Quote:

No. Only if we reach the threshold rewards levels.

Quote:
Are there any plans for lvl 1-4?

No. Since this deals with more dangerous individuals we thought it would be best to start at 5th level.

Quote:

It could. We built the setting for this to be a generic Pathfinder so you can drop it into anywhere with ease. But the sidetrek are each specific campaign world so that could be an issue. Hope this helps and thanks for the support!

I'm currently at the $69 level but I feel like I could contribute more but the levels above that include some kind of creative contribution privilege which I don't value. Any chance of having add-ons that net content over contribution?

I understand that feeling. My idea was to not do add-ons and just add on more cool stuff to the threshold goals. Add-on to me were things that you might offer to someone at a discount and my feeling was just give it away for free if you reach a certain point. That just seemed to make more sense to me. Hope this helps.

Our friends at Adventureaweek.com were kind enough to offer an additional reward to all donors at $49 and up of our Crisis of the World Eater Kickstarter: 1 free month subscription to Adventureaweek.com!!!! We will send out the code for the free subscription after the Kickstarter ends! If you ever wondering about trying our Adventureaweek.com, now you have a good FREE reason! Enjoy! @Louis: Have you thought about Chronicles of the Gatekeepers as an add-on, perhaps even as an exclusive POD-compilation for those who need modules to take them from level 1 - 5? Seems like a natural fit to me...

Actually not until you just said that. I think I have some work to do. :-)

Yeah, also previous LPJ products in general or products that already exist from the contributing publishers would make food add ons for people in my kind of position.

That happens sometimes. But don't worry we will be releasing this most likely by this early summer. You can still follow our Facebook page to see what we are doing with this project and many more of ours. Hope this helps!
