A successful Dundracon 40 is now in our past (Thanks to Pirate Rob and his team) and Kublacon is only 3 months away. John and I will be running Kublacon this year but we are looking for help and input to make this a terrific event for the Bay Area Pathfinder Society.
We have just been told that the Hyatt are doing some construction in our usual home (and the restaurant next door) which should give us a space that will not be divided into small rooms.
We are looking for volunteers to help us pull this event off. If you can help us with any of following, or just want more information please email us.
Graphic Design - we'd like to have some posters to spread out in the stores to encourage people to come and try us out
GM Wrangler - Someone to find GMs where needed and make sure the GMs have everything they need
Player Liaison - Just what it says. Answer player questions before the con (and during if the person volunteering desires) and help them where needed
Young Player Coordinator - Kubla has a good young and teen player organization and we'd like someone who can connect with them and work out what we can do to bring in some young PFS players
Social Media Guru - Being the ancient people we are the social media landscape is not our forte. We'd like someone who could help us to get the news out and build up BAPS and Kublacon PFS social media presence.
Computer Supplier - We can most probably get licenses from Hero Lab but they cannot provide the computer stations and printers due to their presence at a certain other con in Seattle!!! If we can find some computers and a printer we can continue to have Hero Lab available to our players (there is of course no budget for this).
If you can help before the con with any of these tasks let us know.
The next thing John and I need to do is create a schedule. If you have any requests for particular scenarios, modules or specials let us know. We don't guarantee to be able offer everything you want but we will do our best.
Help us make this year's Kublacon the best yet

agreed - thanks to Wendy and John and everyone - Kublacon was another fantastic PFS experience - this time I only had time to run games but they were all a blast and (I hope) I think my players all had a good time. Probably the most fun I've had running a special in a very long time even though we didn't get to the final scenes I think the players had a good time. And running a Level 16 module was amazing fun....
and as I mentioned I may be up for running The Witchwar Legacy at a future con or game day if there are enough players with characters in tier...

It was fun, even if I did loose some of my stuff. Now I just gotta find places to play in the bay now.
You should have picked up the handout we had at the HQ desk to tell you what the local play options are :-)
But if you go here you can get a mostly up-to-date list.

..or you can grab our email from the regional coordinator's page and send us an email. We have lots of stores who run games hopefully one is close enough for you to make it.
