Multi-document download

I would like to make a suggestion for a change to the site, in the download section we have to download each file one at a time. Since the system is setup to personalize(watermark) the files and then zip them up, my suggestion is if we could select multiple files to download, and when the system watermarks them, it could add them all to the same zip file for downloading.

My thought would be check boxes next to each title in the download section, and at the bottom of the list a button labeled download selected.

As many of us now have a large collection in our download section, be it those that run many PFS scenarios or just bought the Humble Bundle, or other reasons, it would be nice if we could download more then one at a time (or maybe just all at once)

I understand that this feature would add a bit more load, maybe allow the use of it to once a day per account.

It's something we've wanted to do for a long time, but other priorities have prevented. I'm sure it'll happen someday!

Could you at least expand the time limit on generated downloads? The number of times I've wasted your CPU cycles today by generating personalised PDFs, them taking hours to process, and then them being deleted unread because I missed the (half hour?) windows before needing to regenerate them is just making your lives worse.

Normally, personalized PDFs are kept around for many hours, but higher usage demands faster garbage collection. Earlier today, I was told we're still holding for at least a couple hours.

Vic thanks for the response. I will say as a software developer I understand the other priorities (that is a good description of my day at work most days)
