The healing that they do is that a per character or roll for healing and split the result among those affected?

1d8 points of damage + 1 point per caster level (maximum +25) on each selected creature.
Per character.
Each character receives that much. It is already nearly useless as is without having to spread a single small pool of healing among multiple targets.
Okay thanks, I was looking as mass cure serious as the bard in the group just hit lvl 12 and can now "cast" it as a performance for 4 rounds.
