Can an Ectoplasmic creature carry objects with them when they phase lurch? Like can an ectoplasmic warrior in chain mail with a sword and board phase lurch through a wall and take its gear with it?
Any official rulings one way or the other would be greatly appreciated since I could see it going either way with it being yes it comes with them or no it slips off as they pass through.

First things first, phantoms can't wear armor or wield weapons, so this issue rarely comes up as far as your example is concerned. However, they can wear and benefit from magic items, like cloak of resistance.
Fully manifested phantoms can wear magic items and use items (though not wield weapons) appropriate to their forms. Any items worn, carried, or held by a phantom are dropped when the phantom returns to the spiritualist's consciousness, and must be retrieved and donned anew if the phantom wishes to use them when it fully manifests in the future.
Phase Lurch (Su): A phantom in ectoplasmic form has the ability to pass through walls or material obstacles. In order to use this ability, it must begin and end its turn outside whatever wall or obstacle it's moving through. An ectoplasmic phantom can't move through corporeal creatures with this ability, and its movement speed is halved while moving through a wall or obstacle. Any surface it moves through is coated with a thin, silvery mucus that lingers for 1 minute.
The RAW is unfortunately quite silent on this, and doesn't really say in one way or another. On one hand we could apply common "real world" sense and say that since the magic items are not ectoplasmic they won't pass through solid objects. On the other hand, we could also apply common sense and say that obviously the devs meant them to be actually and practically able to wear magic items, and simply omitted the text saying that their gear also moves with them.
