While I'll be the first one to admit that Intimidate is a strategy that has some flaws as a primary trick, given the sheer number of things that are immune to it, I like the idea of getting a class out of its box and doing something different with it. That's why this week I've put together a post called The Intimidating Wizard, which I think has a lot of potential as far as concepts go.
Sure, you're still more likely to be the item identifier, the blaster, the buffer, or the debuffer. But sometimes mundane things require nothing more than a good browbeating.

You're not wrong, but that's already clearly listed as a mechanical method in the blog post. It seems sort of redundant to re-state what's already been said.
