Tactics 101: Positioning

Advice

1 person marked this as a favorite.

So I decided to try something different this time around. Hopefully in an effort to release more in a timely fashion.

Suggestions are welcome I'm hoping to be able to parse out information a little faster and more digestible this way.

Sovereign Court

Interesting; a bit too introductory for my taste (looking forward to the next part!), but the visuals do make it nice and clear.

One issue though: even from a wand, spells don't go any faster than if you cast them normally. If this party is facing a L10 fire giant magus though, it's not unthinkable for the sorceress to have Quicken Spell and Enlarge Person available. Which is a nice combination actually.

Bookmarked. Pinned. Sticky-ed. Shared. And everything in between.

After using the Unchained Action Economy, Positioning became even more incredibly important than it already is. Nice to have a visual to help some of my less experienced players.

Shadow Lodge

Also found it interesting but a bit basic (not a bad thing for part 1).

Not a fan of the video format. It made it difficult to skim through bits that I already understood, and you backtrack or correct yourself in a few places which is essentially the same issue as typos.
