Question about Pathfinder Advantage and ordering items with first shipment

I'm looking at subscribing to the Adventure Path line, and I see it gives the 15% Pathfinder Advantage discount on my other purchases. If the same shopping card that has my subscription setup also has items applicable for the discount, will they get the discount as well? Or do I need to set up the subscription on its own order, wait to be charged and shipped, and then place my other orders to be able to get the discount?

The Pathfinder Advantage doesn't kick in until your first AP volume ships. (This is so people don't subscribe, order a bunch of stuff and get the 15% discount, and then cancel the subscription before the first item ships.) If you order other things and set them to ship with your next subscription instead of right away, you should get the discount.

Yea I figured it was like that. I've got a couple cover price subscriptions I'm starting too, but with November's products. I was hoping I could sign them all up in the last minute time I have to do it before December becomes the "current", but it sounds like I can't get Advantage on the November products that are the current release.

Now the 15% discount is showing up on all my cart items while the subscription is in the cart (confirmed that having the sub "Save For Later" removed the discount). Odd it wasn't showing up last night, but it does look like simultaneous orders do get it, awesome!

Joana is correct. The Pathfinder Advantage discount starts when the first subscription AP volume ships. Items that are set to ship along with that first volume should also get the discount.

Makes sense. Also explains why I went to order a few PFS scenarios after placing my big order (which including AP Sub and multiple discounted items) and didn't get the discount. Thanks for the info.
