With the unfortunate state of PFO I seriously ask the community here to consider looking at the upcoming Lovecraft medieval fantasy mmo Revival, its going to offer alot of the same opportunities that PFO has along with having servers that will be staffed by an active Storyteller team similar to teams found on NWN PW servers. The game is being made by the former lead developers of RIFT and will NOT be Kickstarted. Seriously check it out!
One last thing, the game will be using a similar character creator to Traveller the pen and paper game!

Cloud Imperium (Star Citizen devs) dumped those guys (Illfonic) out of developing first person content for them and stuck their own guys on it. It was way behind schedule when they were dumped. I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Their talk seems to outclass their ability to deliver.
Thanks for the links Amaziah. The ideas are interesting and I wish them success. Not too impressed with their income model but that can evolve. I will try it out when they get somewhere.
Just a little note: There are all types of gamers from all walks of life. One type (that I am not) is the "Dream Chaser". By that I mean that I don't chase after The Next "Perfect Game" that is in development and so really never play any.
There are many players around here that are like that, however. This is probably a good place to get Revival some exposure. :)
