Gunslinger PDFs Legal for play?

Pathfinder Society

Liberty's Edge

HEllo, I just purchased four PDFs that help with the gunslinger class and I was wondering if any are illegal for pathfinder society or if I can use them.

The PDFs
Class Acts: Gunslingers (PFRPG)
Fantastic Feats, Volume XXXIX: Gunslinger (PFRPG)
New Paths #6: The Expanded Gunslinger (PFRPG)
Ultimate Options: Grit and Gunslingers (PFRPG)

For a definitive answer, always check Additional Resources. If they're not there, they're not legal.

From a glance, those all look like 3rd party Pathfinder-compatible products, rather than from Paizo, so they won't be legal.

Yep, sorry, none of those are legal. In almost every circumstance, only Paizo-written rules content is legal for PFS.

thank you

Out of curiosity, you say "almost". Are there actually any exceptions?

Yep, there are two:

Ambush in Absalom, a quest found in Kobold Quarterly #17
The Urge to Evolve, another quest found in Kobold Quarterly #23

Everything else ever allowed for PFS play is in a Paizo-published book or is from a Paizo blog, as far as I'm aware.

Ah, I forgot about those! Thanks!

I sympathize with the OP. I bought one of those PDFs three years ago when I started PFS as well (Grit and Gunslingers), and that's when I also learned of the Additional Resources page.

After someone told me that PFS was basically a big marketing tool for Paizo products it all made sense to me.

I believe both of those were authored by PFS people, and KQ only published them. Ambush is also, now, available as a free standalone document, IIRC.
