shock longbow says: "for your combat check reveal this card to use your Dexterity or Ranged skill + 1d8+1, you may additionly discard it to add your strength die and the electricity trait.

some other longbow weapons say that when you reveal them you get the ranged skill plus your strength die and when you discard them you get the d8. is this supposed to be the same case?
