Background

Running a campaign for a few generations of players that characters have had kids and we have played them well we are on the 4th generation of kids now and they are lvl 20 and are getting ready to embark on what I feel will be the last journey. There is a crown with 12 slots in it each belongs to A coresponding Artifact weapon which they are task to get and return the crown to its full power they have obtained 1 of the weapon the glaive known as lightsbane now I have a name and type for each weapon but I need encounters fit for lvl 20. And also what each weapon will do. The weapons are as followed. I know and have info on Dylan and lights bane already so any ideas on location challenge and weapon property. Would be awesome.

The Characters Are

lvl 20 Fighter Duel-wields Large Scythes. And Currently the owner of lightsbane. Also has found a Picture in a labyrinth portraying himself to be The dragon of the ninth heavens And he has no idea what that means and neither do I yet.
Lvl 20 Wizard Thats weilds a arcane rifle and is a master crafter of metals and is on a quest to find dream steal which is a made up metal form my world.

I got ideas for them, but there are not much info to work with. Also to make it fun, it depends who smart you are. However, you already started the story and one of them already got taken by the team, that means any cool ideas might not work well with lightbane. The coolest way would have each weapon has a level 20 living form where they can wield themselves. Each gives the party a challenge, may it be a game of punchy or just playing paper scissors rock. Since they already got lightbane. It's too late for that. Just stick with the encounter of how they got lightbane but change to suit the theme. You should really prepare all that before you started unless you are really good at making things up on a fly. Good luck.
