The Rot Grub |

In Ultimate Combat, where kikko armor original appears under Eastern Armor and weapons, it costs 250gp.
But in Ultimate Equipment, it costs only 30gp.
This is strange, because technically it is superior to the more-expensive scale mail in every way (greater Max Dex bonus, lower Armor Check Penalty, lighter weight, lower Arcane Spell Failure Chance).
Was this discrepancy intended? Or is it a misprint?

Note, however, that the general rule is "Most recent published is the official version." Since the UC errata post-dates UE, the final UC version takes precedent in org play.
Show me this rule.
Seriously. I've challenged people on this before and nobody's been willing or able to show me such a rule.
.
Suppose I own UE but not UC. According to the Additional Resources UE is a legal source for Kikko armor. Since I don't own UC I can't use that as a source.
You can't compel people to use rules from a source that they're not allowed to use because they don't own it.
Conversely, you have to let people use UE as a source for Kikko since Additional Resources allows it.
.
Sometimes the decision is made to allowe only the newest source for something. In that case it's made explicit in the AR. For exampe:
Prestige Class: the Living Monolith version in this book is no longer legal after January 28, 2014. The version found in Pathfinder Player Companion: People of the Sands must be used. If your character took the prestige class before this date, it is grandfathered in and may be used until retirement. If you wish to switch to the new version of the prestige class, and you meet all the qualifications, you may do so at no cost;
The general rule is that if Additional Resources says you can use X from source Y, you can do that. Even if X is also available from source Z and Z happens to be newer.
