So Spell Combat for the regular magus allows you to take an extra attack with a melee weapon by taking -2 to attack rolls, treating it like TWF. The Eldritch Archer magus must use a ranged weapon, and does not need a hand free. This allows you to use archery and associated feats, such as Manyshot and Rapid Shot. Normally, TWF can stack with Rapid Shot if you're using thrown weapons. However, this is a ranged full-round action that is treated like a full attack for the purposes of Haste and other effects. Do Rapid Shot and Manyshot count as legitimate "other effects"?
Does Eldritch Archer Spell Combat stack with Rapid Shot and Manyshot?

I've always taken that FAQ to mean that spell combat is, essentially, a full attack. So at level 8 with Haste and Rapid Shot, and if you cast a spell that can be delivered via ranged spellstrike, you'll have your +6/+1, and an additional +6/+6/+6 from spellstrike, haste, and rapid shot respectively. This is before additional calculations due to rapid shot, spell combat, etc.
So yeah, you'll be making 5 shots per round under those conditions. Seems pretty good.

Or 6 attacks by level 9, when you can pick up Manyshot?

Could be a real damage machine, provided you used Arcane Pool and Arcane Accuracy to compensate for the Rapid Shot and Spell Combat penalties, as well as 3/4 BAB.

And if you're up against a sufficiently low AC thing or already have Arcane Accuracy + Arcane Pool up, maybe you could look into having Arcane Strike?
