Elemental Kineticist - Racial Archetype

I hope this to be my final attempt at this... it finally starts to feel like what I'm wanting in an archetype. I just worry that they perhaps get too many utility wild talents... :/

Elemental Kineticist - Kineticist Racial Archetype

So, an Ifrit never gains the ability to use Blue Flame Blast, but can use her 1d6 per 2 levels standard Fire Blast all day long with only Form Infusions, whereas the Overwhelming Soul gets (and can eventually use) Blue Flame with Substance Infusions, making it a stronger archetype.

You may wish to rethink this one a little bit.

What advantage over the bog standard Kineticist does this archetype offer besides flavor? 5 extra Utility Wild Talents will does not make this archetype stronger in any way.

What about the Suli? Where's their archetype in all this?

It's actually 6 extra utility wild talents (they get the extra defense for "free").

And yes, I've realized that without Composite Blasts, they'd be much weaker, but felt it was really needed for the utility. This archetype is not made to be equal offensively, it's to get those extra Wild Talents, which there are never enough of. If they had both composite blasts and metakinesis, there would be no justifying those extra talents in my opinion (and absolutely did not want to drop overflow).

In my current character, who I've built to level 16 now, half of his feats are "Extra wild talent". The other half are the much needed toughness/pointblank/precise, and some homemade feats (such as my Foe Hurl) which I've integrated into this class. It really just felt wrong to see all my feats being burned into extra utility talents... and even then, I was missing quite a few I felt were important.

Do you have a suggestion for how to better balance against having so many extra wild talents? I would most sincerely love to have ideas thrown at me... I toyed with the idea of replacing Supercharge with access to a composite blast, but was concerned that was too weak of a sacrifice. :/

As for the Suli, I had them in my original document, but removed them because, despite them being elemental outsiders, they are not specialists in an element, which felt obligatory for this, and insisting they pick one particular element in the Elemental Focus feature felt counter to what a Suli is suppose to be (strong in all elements).

PS. Thanks for your reply. :)

Look at the Kinetic Chirurgeon archetype if you want a utility-based archetype.

No Burn until 6th level cuts into the Defense Wild Talents, Elemental Overflow, and several of the Utility Wild Talents you're getting more of. For example, you can't heal yourself via Kinetic Healer. Address this concern before everything else.

I'm considering writing up a Suli archetype, the Avatar archetype as it were. I'll think on it over the next few days and get something out this weekend, I think.
