I made this list for funsies, as my Mindchemist will probably be toting around a bit of a library in his Haversack soon. Thought some of you might get a kick out of it too. Author names come from Companion books, prominent Society members, some scenarios, and some players in my local lodge. I decided this character himself would author one.

Portable Bookshelf:
5gp, 15 lbs
This chest-like container is a bookshelf, 1' deep by 1.5' high by 6' long, typically made of simple wood, but which can be made of more expensive materials in order to impress the locals. Though it can hold 9 cubic feet of materials, it is not so securely built as a chest, nor even sealed - one can typically glimpse the materials inside. The bookshelf has only 15 hit points and a Break DC of 17.
The design is such that once set on its bottom, one side unlatches and comes down, exposing up to ten standard spellbooks, formula books, and similar research tomes. The shelf may of course be used to hold smaller books of equivalent total size.

Portable hole is the way to go with the superbig bulky materials. You may need a ladder to go down and riffle through the library, but ...
