Stacking Sneak Attack

If you're a Rogue 1/Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1, is your sneak attack 1d6 or 2d6? If you're a Rogue 2/Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1, is your sneak attack 1d6 or 2d6? Rogue Sneak Attack scales 1 every 2 levels, whereas Snakebite Striker increases at 6, 10, 12, and 20. Does this mean you can get Sneak Attack 2d6 at 2nd level? If you, say, become a Rogue 5/Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Assassin 1/Inner Sea Pirate 1, could you have 6d6 Sneak Attack at 8th level?

I believe it does stack.

Here is where we have a ruling on it (look under step 2 of adding levels):

Hope that helps :)

there are some classes that stack, some that don't. That's because there are two different wordings describing sneak attack. Vivisectionist is an example for the latter case.

Scarab Sages

For everything except vivisectionist alchemist, sneak attack dice stack.

Rouge 1/Snakebite Stalker 1: 2d6
Rogue 2/Snakebite Stalker 1: 2d6
Rogue 5/Brawler (Snakebite Striker) 1/Assassin 1/Inner Sea Pirate 1: 6d6

Vivisectionist has horribly written language that forces you to stack levels to determine sneak attack, which simply doesn't work with any multiclass except rogue.

I believe that vivisectionist stacks with Prestige Classes that grant Sneak attack because the wording of PrCs specifically say it stacks with other sources (which allows for a great deal of nonsense, probably best to avoid it unless your GM knows about it ahead of time).

It doesn't stack with any base classes though.

Sovereign Court

Yes - that's one reason why 1-2 levels in Snakebite Striker is a pretty solid dip for rogues.
